Emily McGuire is a confessed fan of the net shopping large, and for her thirty-ninth birthday celebrations, her husband came up with the concept for an ideal present.
Mac McGuire asked neighborhood hotspot Inspiring Grounds and Sweet Dreams Bakery in North Carolina to make a thoughtful deal with all who were too privy to her online ordering conduct.
Not prepared to skip any important information, the three-layer chocolate and buttercream cake was designed to appear like an Amazon bundle complete with a USPS shipping label—all geared up to be brought to ‘1234 Birthday Lane’ in ‘Happy Birthday, 2U’.
Thrilled with her surprise present, the mother-of-3 took to Facebook to share a photograph of the touching cake with the caption: “When you order plenty from Amazon… You get an Amazon field cake”.” The publication soon garnered 356 stocks, with fellow social media customers impressed by the introduction.
“This is genius. I find it irresistible,” one wrote.
While any other agreed, adding: “Omg, I love this. I am addicted to Amazon; this is fantastic.”
McGuire was also touched by her husband’s presence, as she instructed NBC Today: “As soon as I noticed the cake, I was like, ‘He gets me.’ I felt so understood!”
She then admits that she puts something in her Amazon shopping cart at least three times per week, which means there are constantly masses of parcels waiting for her at home.

Thankfully, her husband doesn’t mind. “He just laughs at this point,” she added.
The photographer isn’t the simplest one appropriate to the purchasing-themed sweet treat, as the bakery has received many calls from others desperate to get their palms on an Amazon-inspired masterpiece.
“We’ve been getting plenty of calls from individuals who want the cake,” Brent Norris, who co-owns the shop with his wife Trena, told the USA website. “The cell phone keeps ringing.”
